Our Story
Store Store 24 was founded by local Torquay directors who saw an opportunity to bring modern, secure self-storage facilities to our community. As a family-run business and a locally owned company, we're proud to be part of the fabric of this town we call home.
Our facility on Castle Lane was home to a local family business for over forty years before falling into disrepair. Rather than demolishing this piece of local heritage, we chose to restore it and give it new purpose as a state-of-the-art storage facility.
We believe in breathing new life into existing buildings rather than tearing them down. This approach not only preserves the character of our neighbourhood but also minimises our environmental impact. The renovation has transformed not just our building, but has improved the look and feel of the entire street.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting a building that had been in my family for more than 4 decades. My father, Jeff Williams, ran a successful business in Market Street, an Aladdin's cave of anything and everything! His shop stretched back much further than you would have thought from the front, to another building behind in fact.
Several years ago it was badly damaged by a fire which unfortunately caused it to fall into disrepair. Recently purchased by Andrew and his team, they have painstakingly restored it and breathed new life into its once sad and sorry state. Now called StoreStore24 and approached from Castle Lane, it is a self-storage unit with state-of-the-art security and specialist ducted airflow system.
Ironically, I believe that this building was used for storage when it was first built, so it seems fitting that it has gone full circle. We sadly lost Dad last year but I know he would have been incredibly proud of what has been achieved.
