Terms of Service
Last Updated: 21 June 2026 | Governing Law: English Law
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using Store Store 24 services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Store Store 24 is operated by Store Store 24 Ltd. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
Store Store 24 provides secure storage solutions including:
- Personal storage units with 24/7 access
- Business storage and archive solutions
- Specialist ducted airflow system that helps keep air moving throughout the facility, supporting ventilation and helping reduce damp risk
- Full-site CCTV and controlled access
- PIN and RFID site entry
3. Account Registration & Microsoft OAuth
๐ Microsoft Authentication: We use Microsoft OAuth for secure sign-in
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- Microsoft OAuth credentials are used for secure authentication
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- One account per person or business entity
- You must be 18 years or older to create an account
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations
4. Storage Rules and Restrictions
โ Strictly Prohibited Items:
- Any compressed, liquefied or dissolved gas
- Any substance that becomes dangerous by interaction with either air or water
- Any liquid substance with a flash point below 65ยฐC, including whisky or other alcoholic liquor
- Any corrosive substance
- Any oxidising agent
- Any substance liable to spontaneous combustion
- Any substance that changes or decomposes readily, giving out heat when doing so
- Any solid substance with a flash point less than 120ยฐC
- Any substance that is likely to spread fire by flowing from one part of a building to another
- Illegal substances or stolen goods
- Perishable food items or living organisms
- Firearms, weapons, or ammunition
- Items that emit odours or attract pests
- Cash, negotiable instruments, or irreplaceable items
We reserve the right to conduct random unit inspections to ensure compliance with these restrictions. Prohibited items will be removed at your expense. Violations may result in immediate termination of service.
5. Payment Terms & New Customer Discounts
๐ฐ Special Pricing: New customer discounts apply as advertised
- Fees are due in advance on the agreed billing date
- New customer discounts apply for the specified promotional period
- Late payments may incur additional charges as per UK regulations
- Price changes require 30 days written notice
- Unit Preparation Fee: when you reserve a unit (online or in person) you pay a ยฃ20 Unit Preparation Fee. This is a one-off administration charge for preparing your unit for you: a member of our team travels to the facility, cleans and readies the unit, and photographs it ready for your move-in. The fee covers that work and is not returned. Separately, as a welcome gift, every customer who moves in receives ยฃ20 off their first payment.
- Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy and UK consumer rights. Your statutory cancellation rights for the storage service are unaffected; the Unit Preparation Fee covers preparation work already carried out.
- All payments are processed securely through certified payment providers
- Prepaid-term discounts: where we offer a reduced rate for paying a longer term in advance (for example 3 or 12 months up front), that discount is a benefit of committing to, and completing, the full prepaid term. See clause 8 for what happens if you end such a term early.
Price Beat Promise
We will beat any genuine like-for-like new storage quote, or your existing self-storage contract, subject to the conditions below.
- Like-for-like means the same local area (within reasonable travelling distance of our facility), a comparable unit size, and an equivalent minimum term, access and conditions.
- What to provide: a dated written quote issued within the last 30 days, or your current self-storage invoice or contract, clearly showing the provider, unit size and price. We may verify it before confirming a beat.
- Exclusions: introductory, clearance, auction or closing-down rates; time-limited or online-only promotions not generally available; staff, member, corporate-only or referral rates; mispriced or withdrawn offers; and any price below our reasonable cost of providing the unit.
- How it is applied: the beat is given as a lower contracted rate on a new agreement. It cannot be combined with other new-customer discounts unless we say otherwise, and it has no cash value.
- Claims are assessed in good faith. We may decline a claim we cannot verify as genuine and currently available, and we reserve the right to amend or withdraw this promise at any time. Our assessment of comparability is final.
6. Data Protection & Privacy
๐ UK GDPR Compliant: Your data rights are fully protected under UK law
- We process your data in accordance with UK GDPR requirements
- Microsoft OAuth data is handled according to their privacy standards
- You have full rights to access, rectify, and erase your personal data
- Marketing communications require explicit consent
- See our Privacy Policy for comprehensive data protection information
7. Liability and Goods Protection
The Goods Protection Plan is not an insurance policy. It raises the limit of our contractual liability where loss or damage is caused by our breach or negligence.
- Every unit includes a Basic Liability Limit of ยฃ250 at no extra cost. You may select a higher limit for an additional charge.
- The Plan does not provide automatic compensation merely because your Goods are lost or damaged. We are liable only where loss or damage is caused by our breach of the Storage Agreement or our negligence.
- The selected limit is not a sum insured and is not an undertaking that the stated amount will be paid.
- No deduction is applied to amounts properly payable under the Plan.
- You remain responsible for deciding whether to arrange separate insurance for your Goods. We do not advise on insurance.
- Full terms are set out in the Goods Protection Plan Addendum.
8. Termination & Account Closure
- Either party may terminate the agreement with 14 days' written notice
- Immediate termination may occur for breach of terms
- Items must be removed within 14 days of termination notice
- Unclaimed items may be disposed of after proper legal notice period
- Access credentials will be revoked upon account termination
- Final billing will be calculated pro-rata to the termination date
- Ending a prepaid discounted term early: if you prepaid a longer term at a discounted rate (see clause 5) and end it before the term is up, the discount for that term is forfeited. The time you have actually used is recalculated at our standard (non-discounted) rate, and we refund the balance of what you paid. You will never be charged more than the standard rate for the time you used, and any genuinely unused prepaid time is returned to you. This reflects that the discount was given in exchange for committing to the full term, and does not affect your statutory rights (including the 14-day cooling-off period in clause 9).
9. Consumer Rights (UK)
๐ฌ๐ง UK Consumer Protection: Your statutory rights are protected
- You have a 14-day cooling-off period for contracts entered into online or at a distance
- Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill
- You have the right to a reasonable price for our services
- Unfair contract terms may be unenforceable under UK law
- These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights
10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
โ๏ธ Jurisdiction: English Courts | Law: Laws of England and Wales
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
- Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts
- We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication first
